24 Hours Nürburgring Nordschleife 2015

The 43rd edition of the ADAC Zurich 24h Race will go down in history once again: With a 40.729 second lead, there was the closest finish of all time in favor of the WRT-Audi R8 LMS driven by Christopher Mies, Edward Sandström, Nico Müller and Laurens Vanthoor. 33 management changes also meant a new record. In addition, this ADAC classic will be the first - and hopefully the last - to go down in the annals, where there was a speed limit on several sections of the route. The trigger for this was the accident of a factory Nissan GT-R at a VLN race in early April. In mostly beautiful spring weather, 200,000 spectators celebrated the largest motorsport party in Germany.

Of course, this book not only illuminates what is happening on the racetrack and in the overall standings. As always, there is a detailed review of the fights in the 21 classes and of course the various framework races. The two races for the World Touring Car Championship, which returned to the Eifel circuit after a 32-year break, were certainly a highlight here.

Off-piste, of course, there was also plenty of action: whether it was the Falken Drift Challenge, autograph sessions, Adenauer Racing Day or the simply incredible starting grid, where around 15,000 people lined the start and finish straight within a very short time and again 90 minutes later disappear. The numerous lap tables and the usual large statistics section should not be missing in this unique reference work. The 15th official 24h Nürburgring yearbook is also a must for every motorsport fan.
