On July 27th, 2019 - therefore also suitable for the today's throwback thursday that is common on the internet - the future world champion Lewis Hamilton drove to the fourth pole position of the running season with his used racing car of the type F1 W10 EQ+ with chassis-number 04, by the Mercedes AMG Petronas Motorsport team, at the final training of the Grand Prix of Germany. It is the 87th pole position of his career and his third pole at a Grand Prix of Germany. A very important success for the team, as the car manufacturer celebrated "125 years of motorsport" and had the 200th race ahead of them. For this car, the cooperation partners Minichamps and ck-modelcars.de are now delivering a special model limited to only 333 units, which is built in scale 1:18 from diecast with plastic parts and comes as an extra in a representative folding box. 

While Hamilton finishes the 70th season of the Formula 1 with the sixth world championship title, the Team Mercedes AMG Petronas Motorsport finished the year 2019 with the sixth victory in the constructors' rating. But the modelcars and their role models by Hamilton and Bottas at the German Grand Prix differ in one point from those at the other Grand Prix of this year: On the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the first automobile competition, the front of the vehicles at the German Grand Prix was white painted.
