The label pleases us with new modelcars in 1:43 to long and less recent 24 hours races of Le Mans and other highlights

Yesterday the TV series "Game of Thrones" came with the broadcasted episode six of the eighth season to an end. And now it's time for the game of the drivers, that was about the statement of the official Twitter-channel of the 24 hours of Le Mans, which is operated by the organizer Automobile Club de I'Ouest: On the weekend of June 15th and 16th, 2019 the 87th edition of the race at the Sarthe is going to start. As if Spark understood that as a signal, we received a delivery of new modelcars from the asian label yesterday, which includes miniatures of past Le-Mans-races. Of course there are models again after their role models of the house Porsche and a class winner of Petit Le Mans 2018, but also miniatures as the Volkswagen ID. R Pikes Peak Concept Car for example or the elegant Aston Martin V8 Sportsman Estate from 1996. Here now the highlights!

Let's start with the Porsche 917 with the start number 20 in the scale 1:43, with which Jo Siffert and Brian Redman have started for the team John Wyer Automotive Engineering Ltd. at the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1970, but could not finish the race due to a loss on lap 156. The models are made out of the high-quality resin, are led under the item number S1969 and are still the most wanted miniatures in this segment because of their Gulf paint; several times reduced also from other car model builders. The models from Spark match the higher demands of the collectors in the finish and therefore reflect the appearance of the model accurately, powered by a 4.9-liter boxer engine with 12 cylinders. We are bringing new models from Spark on the subject of Le Mans to the present.

There is the Porsche 911 Turbo of the 991 II series, which was used as a safetycar in the previous year. The matte black car puts a glossy red stripe in scene and carries an authentic light bar on the roof (S7046). At its side there is a model of the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo, which served as race control for the 2018 24 Hours race (S7048). The Petit Le Mans is a sports car race on the Road Atlanta racetrack in Braselton, Georgia, which has been held since 1998. To this year and the Porsche 911 GT1, won by Laurent Aïello, Allan McNish and Stéphane Ortelli at Le Mans, reminds the design of the Porsche 911 RSR, which won the 2018 GTML class of the Petit Le Mans. The Porsche GT team relied on the drivers Patrick Pilet, Fred Makowiecki and Nick Tandy and was not disappointed (S5848).
