Beautiful like no other: New Alfa Romeo Stelvio from BBR

Yesterday we had an Alfa Romeo from Formula 1 in the blog. Today we present the Alfa Romeo Stelvio a vehicle of the tradition-rich label from the present. The Stelvio is the attempt by Alfa, to build on the sales success of VW Tiguan & Co., offers in contrast to those a unique racy lines. Quite the beautiful Italian. We love these vehicles because they bring elegance and style to our streets. And exclusivity, because with 1,835 copies approved in 2017 in Germany, the Alfa Romeo Stelvio is a true tailor-made suit that does not appear at the party so quickly. By comparison, around 75,000 VW Tiguan were registered in our home country last year. We take a closer look at the Italian and, of course, also look at the 1:18 model car.

BBR has made the miniatures for the Stelvio as usual from high-quality Resin plastic. A glance at the radiator grille leads to exquisite model-making art, perfect workmanship and a fit that is almost unique in model making. The headlamps, their interior and the windows of the Stelvio also impress with their finish and the precision with which the parts were made. Attached door handles, a first-rate downsized brake system and in the impression not top-end wheels raise the model car in the status of a small work of art. The interior also corresponds to the interior of the prototypes painted in Rosso Alfa, which have received from BBR a glass roof on the way to the collector's display case, which is optionally even included. An eye-catcher is also the indicated diffuser at the rear.

Sebastian Vettel in Stelvio

Of the few Stelvio that Alfa Romeo sold 2017 in Germany, 1,268 were equipped with diesel engines and 1,688 four-wheel drive. The Stelvio is offered with three diesel and three gasoline engines: The diesel has a 2.2 liter single-stroke, but is available in three versions with 110 kW / 150 hp, 132 kW / 180 hp and 154 kW / 210 hp, where the strongest version is reserved for all-wheel drive. The four-cylinder with just 2.0 liters displacement and support via twin-scroll loader comes with 147 kW / 200 hp and 206 kW / 280 hp on the road. The Stelvio 2.9 V6 QV has a Ferrari F154 designated V6 with 2.9 liters under the hood and has 375 kW / 510 hp; Four-wheel drive included. And last but not least, have a look at the three-day old video in which Sebastian Vettel does a lap in the prototype of our model, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio!
