The original is already a statement: The Porsche 911 GT2 RS of the 991.2 series is considered the most powerful, fastest, and most extreme production car that Porsche has ever built based on the 911 platform. With 700 hp, rear-wheel drive, carbon fiber components, and a lap time of under 7 minutes on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the GT2 RS is a true monster on the asphalt.
GT-Spirit has now created a very special collector's item in scale 1:12: a model limited to 300 pieces, produced exclusively for ck-modelcars. At an impressive 37 centimeters long, this model truly sets new standards. The car's proportions appear even more striking, the lines even cleaner, and the details even more precise.
The vibrant yellow paintwork with black accents underscores the GT2 RS's motorsport character. The striking carbon-fiber look on the hood and air intakes has been faithfully reproduced, as have the wheels, which make the car's power palpable even when stationary. GT-Spirit has also done a superb job with the interior: the cockpit, bucket seats, and roll cage are realistically depicted, and even the seatbelts and instruments are visible through the windows.
What makes this model so special is not only its size but also its exclusivity due to the limited production run. Anyone wanting to get their hands on one of these models shouldn't hesitate too long. The combination of scale, level of detail, color scheme, and limited edition status makes the GT2 RS a highlight in any display case.
The 991 II GT2 RS was produced between 2017 and 2019 and marked the end of the 991 series with a resounding bang. Its 3.8-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine, paired with lightweight components and an active suspension, made it the ultimate track tool for the road. No other production 911 had been so radically designed up to that point.
