The famous racing stable from England cares for the memory of the not less famous salaried on a remarkably extraordinary way: McLAren honored the triple formula 1 world champion Ayrton Senna with baptizing the newest super sports car of the ultimate series on his name: The McLaren Senna was introduced to the public at the 88th Geneva Motorshow in 2018. There it was already not possible anymore to buy one: The super sports car with a limitation of 500 pieces was already sold out before the presentation. In Germany 992,250 euros were necessary for it; that did not stop any buyer. The first delivered exemplar had been wrecked quite after the handing over ... well, shit happens. May it be better for the very good modelcars from BBRmodels in 1:18. 

The Brazilian racing driver Ayrton Senna lost his life at the 2005 San Marino Grand Prix in Imola and is still painfully missed by many fans today. In the years 1988 to 1993, the three-time Formula 1 world champion sat in the cockpit for McLaren; his statistics show 161 races with Toleman, Lotus, McLaren and Williams: 41 wins, 65 pole positions and 19 fastest laps; his greatest successes are the ones he won with McLaren-Honda. That's reason enough to dedicate the new supercar to him! Motorized with a 4.0 liter V8, the Senna puts 588 kW / 800 hp on the road and accelerates with a dry weight of 1,198 kilograms in 2.8 seconds to 100 kilometers per hour. Its eight-cylinder twin-scroll turbocharger develops 800 Nm of torque.

This is transmitted via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission to the rear wheels and allows a top speed of 340 kilometers per hour. In 6.8 seconds it is at 200, in 17.5 seconds at 300 kilometers per hour. For this breathtaking vehicle modelcars from BBR have now appeared, which come to the collector in scale 1:18 and in the very best workmanship. BBR - proper BBRmodels - has introduced the McLaren Senna in six colors. The models are limited to 50 to 100 units and made out of high-quality resin Polyurthan. Their appearance matches that of the model perfectly. The sharp edges and excellent workmanship are simply fascinating: No other car would be worthy to wear the big name Senna.
