Minichamps starts with the Alpine A522, the current vehicle of Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon. It is the second car to be used under the name and in the colors of the Renault subsidiary. As a reminder: Until 2020, the team based in Enstone, UK, started as the official Renault factory team.
However, the thing with the Alpine colors is something of a thing: For the opening event in Bahrain, Alpine decided not to use the distinctive blue and dedicated the design entirely to the main sponsor, BWT. Both Alonso and Ocon started the new season completely in pink. Minichamps has brought this pink combination onto the market as a set - strictly limited in a scale of 1:43. If you only want to get one of the two exclusive models, you can of course do so. Fernando Alonso's vehicle and Esteban Ocon's vehicle are also available individually in the usual high quality.
A short time after the season opener, the Alpine team returned to the original design - not quite. Because the colors of BWT were kept - albeit more subtle. For this reason, the two Alpine drivers were on the road with a blue and pink design combination from the race weekend in Australia. A look that the team kept for the following races.
To commemorate the colorful start of the French, Minichamps came up with something special: A double of both finishes in scale 1:43, which is also strictly limited and available exclusively from ck-modelcars. The models from Australia are also available individually.
