Hardly any other vehicle embodies sportiness, tradition, and innovation as consistently as the Porsche 911. The sports car from Zuffenhausen has thrilled generations of fans – and each model series has written its own story. Characteristic features include the wide fenders, reminiscent of the Turbo, and the harmonious lines that make the 993 a design classic. With 285 hp from a 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine, it offered impressive performance for its time. The Solido model convincingly brings this blend of elegance and power to the showcase.
The 993 Turbo in arena red is even more extreme. With twin-turbocharging and around 408 hp, it was one of the fastest production sports cars in the world at the time. Its striking rear wing, wide body lines, and unmistakable Turbo logo still define the image of a true Porsche racer today. The Arena Red paintwork gives the model a particularly sporty look.
The 964 Turbo 3.6 in polar silver, which Solido produced exclusively for ck-modelcars, is also particularly sought-after among collectors. The 3.6-liter flat-six with 360 hp was a further development of the legendary 964 Turbo and is considered a sought-after classic today. The blend of classic 911 design and the raw turbo power of the 1990s makes this car unique. The model impresses with precise proportions and meticulously executed details.
All four models demonstrate how versatile the 911 has been throughout its history: from modern high-tech machines to air-cooled classics. Solido brings this fascination to the scale 1:18, combining technology, design, and collector's passion.
