In the new episode, we take the fans of ck-modelcars to the start of the DTM season. Vehicles from seven different manufacturers started the 40th season of the traditional championship from April 26th to 28th. From the defending champions of the Manthey EMA team and their Porsche 911 GT3 R to the Mercedes-AMG GT3, which is popular with fans, and the series debut of the McLaren 720S GT3, the weekend offered interesting stories at all times. We also reminisced and experienced a real legend of the touring car series in the classic department of Mücke Motorsport with the Ford Mustang DTM from 1994.

During exciting petrol discussions, the replicas of the original racing vehicles were of course again the focus. For us, it is always a special highlight to see the true-to-original models in direct comparison with their originals.

The visit to Oschersleben offered the perfect opportunity to present various models in scale 1:18 from past DTM years in a perfect setting. We experienced first-hand how true to the original the replicas of the racing cars from past years are. With discussion partners such as Gerd Ruch, Stefan Mücke and motorsport expert Lukas Gajewski, we relive the old days of the DTM and take a look at the 40-year history of Germany's flagship racing series with exciting background stories.
