The new racing season is just around the corner. That makes us all the more excited to share some fantastic news with you, news that means a great deal to our team at ck-modelcars. We are the new model car partner of the DTM.
We know that for many of you, the passion for racing and model cars stems from the DTM. After all, this series has been a flagship of motorsport in Germany for over 40 years, and it has long since gained international renown. With different generations of drivers and cars, the DTM has always attracted and captivated different generations of fans. Being able to share this passion as an official DTM partner is something very special for us.
"I am looking forward to the partnership with the DTM, one of the most popular racing series in Europe," says Christoph Krombach, the founder of ck-modelcars. “We will be present at almost all DTM race events again in 2026. Furthermore, in cooperation with Ixo, we will once again offer a wide selection of DTM cars in 2026.”
The current selection already includes several fan favorites from the current GT3 era. These include the “Grello” Porsche from Manthey, which became popular on the Nordschleife and with which Austrian Thomas Preining became champion in 2023, and the Mamba design on the Mercedes-AMG GT3, which, for example, adorned Lucas Auer’s car in the 2024 season.
“In addition to the modern vehicles, the DTM legends from the 1990s also have a firm place in our selection. Be it the legendary M3 E30, the 190E, or the fan favorite Ford Mustang,” says Christoph Krombach. "WERK83 will be recreating these legendary cars and continuously expanding its product range. WERK83 will also become a licensed model car partner of the DTM in 2026."
