Those, who go for a Porsche 911 GT3, mostly want something more eye-catching. A detail that should not be missing in such a case is the characteristic fixed rear wing in a gooseneck look. However, the Porsche with the Touring-package goes without it and thus chooses a more discreet appearance. However, this does not detract from the 911, because an automatically extendable spoiler also shows in the case of the Touring which genes the GT3 carries and that it is at home both on the racetrack and on the everyday streets of this world. Guards Red is one of the colors in which the Porsche 911 (992) GT3 Touring can be ordered. The label Minichamps also chose this color when manufacturing the model featured in today's blog post. Paired with the black rims, the model from the Fascination Sports Car series presents itself as sporty as usual. The history of the Porsche 911 is a story with tradition. The first Porsche 911 came onto the market as early as 1963. Again and again the design line was further developed without really abandoning it completely. An art that makes the Porsche 911 so unique and popular to this day. The 8th generation of the Porsche 911 came in 2019 with the 992 model. Since 1999, the water-cooled 911 has also been produced with the addition GT3. The direct predecessor models of the GT3, which were produced from 1972-1997, still had the addition Carrera RS and were air-cooled naturally aspirated engines. Some of these model series have now become priceless collector's items. The Porsche 911 GT3 embodies the characteristics of a sports car without sacrificing the comfort features of an everyday car. Contrary to all expectations, the Porsche 911 GT3 has retained its characteristic engine sound in the latest model series, which is equipped with a petrol particle filter. The free-breathing boxer engine, which has enjoyed ever-increasing displacement since the introduction of the 996 series, also shows its characteristic "screaming" in the 992 series, that it unfolds without any problems at 9,000 revolutions.

The latest model series (992) of the GT3 has a naturally aspirated 4.0 liter 6-cylinder high-revving engine that delivers 510 hp and accelerates from 0 to 100 in 3.4 seconds. The Zuffenhausener reaches its top speed at 318 kph. The already mentioned rear wing with a swan neck look is not only a design element, but also provides the necessary downforce and takes up the look of a GT racing car. The rear diffuser and the carbon bonnet with the integrated air vents show that the GT3 is at home in motorsport. One of the proofs of this is the fact that the lap time of the Porsche 911 (992) on the Nordschleife broke the 7-minute barrier even before its official launch. The Porsche 911 (992) GT3 combines beauty and brutality in a work of art car that is beautiful to look at from all angles.
