About the author

From 1969 to 1989 Walter Naah worked at Porsche as a test and racing engineer. He worked on racing cars as well as on many prototypes and production cars and was on the Zuffenhausen works team in nineteen Le Mans races. When Peter Falk's newly formed racing department entered the competition with the Porsche 956 in the early 80s, Naher followed the call to "Falkland" and worked as a racing engineer for the works drivers Ickx, Mass, Bellof, Bell, Stuck, Holbert, Schuppan, Ludwig and Wollek. At the end of 1989 he switched to the silver cars in Group C from Sauber Mercedes and entered the Formula 1 arena with them in 1993. He stayed in Peter Sauber's Swiss racing and test team until 2002.
