Minichamps started the program of its large models of the legendary sports car with the Porsche 911 of the model series 930, the very first Porsche 911 Turbo. The miniatures of diecast and in scale 1:12 appeared in various colors, for exapmle olive green, peru red, tanyellow as well as purple, pink and the light green that is still popular today. That format then became also interesting for other modlecar brands: Spark reduces several Porsche 911 GT2 RS as well as 911 GT3 RS to this size and also takes care of the racing cars 911 RSR, which competed at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2018 and 2019 in factory painting. Minichamps submitted the Porsche 911 R from the year 2016 in scale 1:12: The range became even larger in this size. But you could hardly find any tuned nine-elevens there: That however changed with the Rauhwelt 964.

Yesterday, GT-Spiritmodels delivered the modelcars to the Porsche 911 of the model series 964 of the year 1990, of which the role models have been refined by tuner Rauh-Welt Begriff, under the item number KJ024. The miniatures in scale 1:12 now perfectly complete the range of nine-elevens in this size, which were brought on the marked by MInichamps and Spark. The coupe, painted in Indian red, leaves the GT-Spiritmodels factory in a run of 300 pieces and perfectly matches the design language of the prototype right down to the last curve. The finish and the appearance of the approximately 36 centimeter long modelcars made from the high-quality polyurethane resin show a great passion that the mold engineers of GT-Spiritmodels or GT-Spirit obviously feel for the work of the Japanese-based tuner Akira Nakai.

The label Rauh-Welt Begriff / RWB combines Japanese and European tuning elements and especially relies on extreme widebody kits and lush double rear spoilers, as for exmaple the one with the name "Royal Champion Wing". Rauh-Welt Begriff baptizes its cars: We already had a "Furusato" and a "Rough Rhythm" in the blog. The name of the prototype of our modelcar presented here is Nakai-San's point of view, corresponding to "Second Development" and can be found on the bonnet under the rear wing. Although the large doors and hoods remain closed - as is usual with miniatures made of resin by Minichamps as mentioned at the beginning - the exterior already has a lot to offer the eye: pure, wide construction with a rustic rivet look and a rear spoiler on which a Porsche 930 from 1977 would be guaranteed to be jealous. Stay healthy!
