The design of the street legal super sports car reminds on the purebred racing version of the 911 like the GT3 R or the GT3 Cup with its sports seats, the roll cage and the massive rear wing. The GT3 RS developes 520hp with its six-cylinder boxer-engine, which also gallop ahead on the racetrack.
In keeping with the inner values, the exterior of a Porsche must not be neglected. It should be eye-catching and sporty. The green vinyl dress tailored to his body was designed by the color designers Barbara Sika and Daniela Miloševic. specially developed for the 991.2 GT3 RS from 2018. The yellowish "Lizard Green" perfectly reflects speed, agility and the shimmering fascination of a lizard.
Racing fans also remember the "Grello" because of the green exterior color. The legendary GT3 R by Manthey-Racing, which has been one of the best racing cars for many years, especially in the "Green Hell" of the Nürburgring. Probably the best-known driver of the dashing lizard is factory driver Kévin Estre, who has been delighting the public with his daring maneuvers and spectacular victories for years and was able to increase the popularity of the GT version of the 911 even further.
In addition to racing, the Manthey-Racing team around the Grello has specialized primarily in the optimization of Porsche street athletes. With the aero package based on the 911 GT2 RS MR with flaps on the front, the carbon wing, aero discs on the rear wheels and the optimization of the brakes and chassis, Manthey has created a vehicle that is perfectly tailored to the discerning customer.
The record drive in April 2021 shows what the track tool is capable of on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife Eifel. The perfected Porsche 911 GT3 RS MR was equipped with a racing seat, in which none other than racing and works driver Kévin Estre took a seat and was let loose on the Eifel circuit.
After the complete 20.832 kilometers, which mean the world, the stopwatch stopped under notarial supervision at 6:54.340 minutes - a new record! In the "Sport-Auto" track variant, in which the section at T13 is not stopped, the clock showed a time of 6:49.656 minutes. This puts the GT3 RS MR just behind its 700 hp big brother, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS MR, on its record lap.
Minichamps has released this record vehicle in "lizard green" in two versions. Especially interesting for collectors is the version with high quality folding box and limitation to 200 pieces.
