To increase the popularity of the brand "Gazoo Racing", Toyota will expand selected contractual partners to GR Centers. This message has been announced by the Japanese on Monday afternoon. According to their statement, interested parties can get to know the sporty top of the Toyota product range up close and rely on the experienced service quality of the experts at the bases. At the start, there will already be 96 Toyota contract partners throughout Germany. Fans of the modelcars on the topic of Gazoo Racing do not necessarily have to travel there, because the miniatures of the brand, which is extremely successful in motorsport, are an integral part of the portfolio of ck-modelcars.de; at least while stocks last. Take a look with us at the news item from Toyota and the miniatures that are currently available!
So let's start with the news from Cologne: Not least because of the motorsport successes of the recent past, Toyota Gazoo Racing has become a fixture on the world's race tracks. Last year, the team won the drivers and constructors' titles in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), the third title in a row at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the drivers and co-drivers championship in the FIA World Rally Championship, or WRC for short. With the GR Supra and the GR Yaris, Toyota has already launched two models that bear the name of the in-house works team and bring technological developments from motorsport to the road. This range of high-performance variants is to be expanded further. The Corolla GR Sport and the C-HR GR Sport expand the range with a sporty GR Sport look.
In the range of ck-modelcars.de, Toyota Gazoo Racing is more represented with miniatures for sporty hardware: The journey begins with the still fresh modelcars to the Toyota Yaris WRC, the No. 8, with which Ott Tänak and Martin Järveoja not only finished second in the 2019 Rallye Catalunya. The world champion car appears in several versions in scale 1:43 at Ixo from diecast. The legendary and coveted set with the three models of the Toyota TS050 of the 24 Hours of Le Mans of 2017 from Spark in the extraordinary format 1:38 will not be available for long. The Toyota GR Supra Racing concept car 2018 in the size 1:43, which Spark delivers, was limited to only 4,000 pieces worldwide. The set, for which Spark designed a set limited to 1,500 units, commemorates the success of the 24 Hours of Le Mans that year.
This is also reproduced in scale 1:43 and the Toyota TS050 with the starting number 8 from Sébastien Buemi, Kazuki Nakajima and Fernando Alonso as well as the No. 7 with Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi and José Maria Lopez. As usual with Spark, they are produced from the high quality polyurethan cast resin. They are an indispensable must-have for fans of Toyota in the design of the representative presentation box including the starter field and in combination with the matching figure; a mini diorama, as it also fits without any big collection! The link below takes you to these miniatures as well as to the individually available modelcars on the subject of Toyota TS050. Have fun browsing through the range of these modelcars, which indirectly promise us one thing: That Toyota's long series of successes in motorsport has not yet come to the end of the journey!
