Michael Schumacher - Canadian GP Formula 1 1998:

The 1998 Canadian Grand Prix in Montréal on 7 June was an exceptionally chaotic race – and for that very reason a remarkable victory for Michael Schumacher.
Even the start was spectacular: following a crash involving Alexander Wurz, Jean Alesi and Jarno Trulli, the race was stopped and restarted. There were also several incidents at the second start. Defending champion Mika Häkkinen retired with gearbox problems, and later Coulthard, amongst others, was also forced out. There were three safety car periods in total.
Schumacher initially battled with Coulthard for the lead. Things became particularly controversial after his pit stop: As he exited the pits, he forced Heinz-Harald Frentzen off the track, causing the Williams to crash into the gravel trap. Schumacher received a 10-second stop-and-go penalty for this. He dropped back but immediately fought his way back to the front.
On lap 45, Schumacher finally took the lead when Fisichella came in for a pit stop. He then controlled the race and eventually won by a margin of 16.662 seconds – his second victory of the season and Ferrari’s second win of the year.
After crossing the finish line and during the victory lap, Schumacher raised his right hand and celebrated his victory with relief in this nerve-wracking Grand Prix.
